"As a child, I grew up with only one book: a cookbook that came as gift with a set of cookware. Receiving my first fairy tale books by friends at the age of seven was a revelation – one that ignited my passion for stories and led me to study visual communication. I wanted to create my own children’s books. Early on in 1996, I worked on visioning projects such as War of the "Four Elements" (a story about sustainability) and "Emma und Ihr Knurrmagen" (exploring healthy eating). Despite initial rejections from publishers, I persevered. My breakthrough came with a book series about ageing and generational conflict. These works were translated into several languages and integrated into school curriculums. ​To date, I’ve written
or illustrated over 50 children’s books, including "Little Lilli", who dreams of being big and strong, and "Bitter Bad Paloma", the bitterly
whicket girl who is searching for friends...

 

Today, I combine my passion for storytelling with expertise in corporate design to create strategic, authentic, and strong brand narratives. Whether for small startups or global companies, I develop visual identities and hero’s journeys that connect people and brands. Good stories and pictures build bridges – between ideas, businesses, and their audiences.​

I specialize in building cohesive brand identities that reflect the unique vision and values of each organization. My work spans traditional storytelling across books, games, and apps, as well as the creation of educational tools for self-evaluation and professional growth. I also bring corporate projects to life for museums, publishers, and creative institutions.
